Your work and your privacy
Updated October 13, 2026.
Your artwork
Artwork, editable recovery drafts, and exported clothing are stored on your device. They are not uploaded to the workshop’s reporting system. Browser storage can be cleared; keep downloaded PSD or PNG copies. PSD files open in external editors; Workshop imports PNG only. File → Open provides named saves and recovery drafts.
Basic page counts
We count requests for public pages in hourly totals, grouped by page, broad referral source (such as Reddit or search), and mobile/tablet or desktop category. This counter does not use cookies or visitor identifiers and does not retain IP addresses, full referring URLs, query strings, or raw browser identifiers. Reloads count again. Known bots and prefetches are excluded, but these counts cannot identify unique people. These aggregate counts are separate from the optional behavior statistics below.
Optional usage statistics
If you allow usage statistics, the workshop records named steps such as opening export, saving clothing, and clicking download. Reports can include elapsed time, garment category, counts, browser family, and site version. A random visit identifier expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not collect your artwork, item names, filenames, keystrokes, or screen recordings.
Usage statistics are off until you choose to allow them. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals override that choice. Statistics describe consenting visits and may be incomplete.
Errors and service protection
Basic diagnostic reports contain a known failure or validation reason, error class, operation, workshop screen, browser version, and code revision. Image reports include format and size categories, never filenames or image contents. When available, we include the location in our own built JavaScript code. Raw error messages, full stacks, outside script URLs and URL query strings are excluded. A random diagnostic identifier groups reports within a page session. Requests use a temporary hashed address identifier for abuse protection; this application does not store the original address. The hosting service may process connection information to serve requests.
Feedback
Submitting feedback sends the message, category, site version, and optional reply email to the creator’s private inbox. Please avoid sending private or sensitive information. Feedback emails are not added to the release mailing list.
Email updates
Signing up is optional and separate from using the tool. A confirmation link verifies your choice before the subscription becomes active. Keep that link to manage your subscription or unsubscribe. Release emails must also include an unsubscribe link. In local testing, confirmation links appear only in the owner dashboard; no email is sent. Public email delivery will use Resend when configured.
Access and retention
Reports are available to the creator through a private local dashboard and an authenticated reporting interface. An AI assistant may help the creator review reports; its default report excludes contact email addresses and confirmation links. Visitor feedback is treated as untrusted text.
Usage and diagnostic records older than 90 days, pending subscriptions older than 7 days, and resolved feedback older than 180 days are removed during cleanup. Open feedback is kept while it is being handled. Confirmed subscriptions stay until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Unsubscribed records may be kept to honour that preference. Cleanup runs daily while the owner dashboard is running; records may remain longer while it is offline.
Questions or deletion requests
Use “Report a problem” below, choose general feedback, and provide the email you used if your request concerns feedback or a subscription. All local data can be removed through your browser’s site settings.
